Do Indian passport holders need a transit visa for Seoul (ICN)?

No transit visa needed

No visa needed for an airside connection, generally within 24 hours on a through ticket. Indians holding a US, Canadian, Australian, New Zealand or European visa and travelling to or from that country can also enter visa-free for 30 days.

For an airside connection at Incheon International Airport, South Korea: one ticket, bags checked through, onward flight to another country, no immigration.

Leaving the airport during the layover

Indians with a qualifying US, Canadian, Australian, New Zealand or European visa, travelling to or from that country, can enter visa-free for 30 days. Pakistani, Bangladeshi, Sri Lankan and Nepali passport holders are excluded from that and need a Korean visa.

Watch out

Connecting between Incheon (ICN) and Gimpo (GMP), or a self-transfer that needs bags checked in again, means entering Korea.
